Inspired by the pioneering studio experiments of King Tubby, Prince Jammy and the architects of dub, the performance treats the mixing desk as an instrument. Built from live hardware, modular synthesis, radio signals, space, echo and improvisation, the set moves through dub, techno, jungle, hardcore and heavier, more abstract territory. Recorded live and presented as a single continuous performance, Spectral Transmissions Vol. 1 documents a moment in the development of Adam Winchester's live practice.
